A fun and accessible way to make music that allows incarcerated youth the chance to build self-esteem while developing patience and good learning habits.
Vinery Program VSB - Kitsilano Secondary School 2017
The Vinery Program provides a safe, supportive and nurturing educational environment to at-risk, emotionally fragile students.
Through Stick Together the goal is to get these students to participate and play together on marimba as well as challenge themselves and their self-esteem.

World Music Program - Britannia Community Centre 2003-2011
Taught groups of beginner and advanced students ages eight to sixteen, Zimbabwean Marimbas for over 8 years, as well as introductory fundamentals to composing and arranging.
“Lively Up Yourself” Roundhouse Community Centre 2007-2009
A two-week program consisting of Zimbabwean Marimba instruction, composing, arranging and performing.
WORKSHOPS
Adult World Music Workshops at the Errington Hall - Parksville August 2017 -2018
Introduced a group to new drum rhythms and traditional African songs in the Beyond Beginners West African Djembe Drumming class
Djembe for Beginners at Gandharva Loka June 2016
A six week course, consisting all the basic and necessary rudiments, rhythms and techniques to make students confident in achieving their goal of playing the Djembe and applying these skills to other hand percussion.
